Sarah Lyman

Sarah Lyman is the Director of Communications at Farm to Institution New England (FINE), where she works to create a just, equitable, and sustainable food system. She is also the Communications Manager at PurplCouch, a woman-owned business she founded to reduce the stigma around divorce. Additionally, Sarah is the Founder of Lyman Media, a graphic design business that supports small businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations. With a background in archaeology, Sarah has held roles such as Assistant Webmaster at the University of Vermont and Assistant Archaeological Director & Lead Graphic Designer at Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. In her early career, she served as a Crew Chief at Curtin Archaeological Consulting, Inc. She holds a M.S. in Food Systems from the University of Vermont and a B.A. in Archaeology from Boston University. Sarah is currently enrolled in the LaunchVT Business Accelerator Program.
