William Dido

Will is a native Vermonter raised in the same town that his father and his grandmother were born in. He took off for the big city for a bit, but realized it wasn’t for him. Despite having grown up less than an hour away, his first experience with Farm & Wilderness was as a temp. Then as a temp in a different department. And yet again as a temp in still another department. He found he quite liked it here, so applied for the bookkeeper position, and was pleased to become a permanent staff member of F&W in August 2012. Will makes fabulous snowflakes out of scrap paper, has a cape that is older than most of the summer staff, and is still trying to figure out this whole “life” thing.

At Farm & Wilderness summer programs, they focus on community, home grown fun and living closely with the natural world. They offer six overnight camps for children ages nine through seventeen, a day camp and a family camp. Four generations of campers have learned a lifelong love of nature and the joy of a simple, participatory life here in the Vermont woods.
