Isabela Menendez Vela has extensive experience in corporate legal management, currently serving as Gerente Sr. Jurídico Corporativo at Farmacias del Ahorro since July 2015, where responsibilities include providing corporate legal advice, managing corporate restructures, implementing tax planning strategies, ensuring compliance with corporate secretary duties, and handling the acquisition, incorporation, splitting, merging, and liquidation of companies, as well as resolving legal issues. Prior to this role, Isabela worked at KPMG México from March 2014 to June 2015 as a Lawyer in the International Legal Area, focusing on corporate legal advice, tax planning implementation, contract preparation and review, corporate restructures, establishing foreign entity representation offices in Mexico, and conducting annual compliance and legal due diligence across various fields, including corporate, contractual, real estate, administrative, and environmental law.
