Ian Russell

Ian Russell has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Ian began their career in 2000 as a Senior Application Developer at Bandwidth Communications. In 2002, they founded Surestuff and served as the Architect. In 2004, they joined The Active Network as the Director of Software Development and RegOnline as the Product Development Manager and Software Developer/UX Designer. In 2011, they founded Spendbrite, an online personal budgeting web application. In 2014, they co-founded Farmbrite, an online farm and livestock management platform. In 2015, they founded Stitchbit, an online application to create and share custom knitting, crochet, needlepoint, and fiber art patterns. In 2020, they joined Alchemer as the Vice President of Product Innovation and Architecture.

Ian Russell attended Syracuse University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Video and Painting.
