Cathy James

Cathy James is an experienced accounting and patient access professional with a diverse background in finance and healthcare. Currently serving as an Accounting Specialist at Farmer Companies since December 2020, Cathy handles tasks such as reconciling monthly credit card statements, processing virtual card payments, and training new users. Previously, Cathy worked as an Accounts Payable Associate and provided support in various accounting roles. At SSM Health, Cathy transitioned from a Patient Access Representative, where patient registration and confidentiality were prioritized, to an Education Technology Specialist responsible for managing a learning management system and training thousands of employees. Cathy began the career with SSM Health in 2005 and has developed strong skills in accounting and patient service throughout the years. Education was obtained at Kaplan University.
