Michelle Nichols

Michelle Nichols, JM, CCEP, ARM, serves as the Senior Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Farmer Mac since December 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Director of Culture, Diversity, and Talent and Senior Director of Compliance, Ethics, and Risk Management at Aaron's, Inc., where strategies for a positive work environment were developed for 10,000 employees. Nichols also held various compliance-focused positions at The Network and Zep Inc., and has been a speaker and moderator at numerous corporate compliance summits. Educational credentials include a Juris Master in Regulatory and Compliance from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from George Mason University.
