Senior Credit Risk Officer at Farmer Mac

Stephen Yose is the Senior Credit Risk Officer at Farmer Mac. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of First Interstate Bank from April 2016 to May 2020. Stephen was responsible for credit approval (credit authority of $75 million), underwriting, portfolio management, and credit quality for the Pacific Region, Rocky Mountain Region, Agribusiness Region, and Native American Financial Services.

From July 2002 to May 2015, Stephen Yose was the Executive Vice President, Regional Credit Executive at KeyBank. In this role, they were responsible for credit approval, underwriting, portfolio management, and credit quality for the Pacific Region, Rocky Mountain Region, Agribusiness Region, and Native American Financial Services. Stephen created and recruited the staff for the West Credit Campus including consolidating underwriting, portfolio management, and credit approval from a de-centralized model to a centralized model. Stephen also consolidated operations from several states into a centralized operation in Seattle Washington.

Stephen Yose has over 18 years of experience in the banking industry. Stephen has a proven track record in credit risk management, underwriting, and portfolio management. Stephen is a member of the KeyCorp Executive Council and has served on various boards and committees.

Stephen Yose has a Master's Degree from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor's Degree in Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University. Stephen also has an Executive Leadership Program from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Their manager is Marc J. Crady, SVP, Chief Credit Officer. They work with Sherri Miller - Director, Internal Credit Review, Danny Odom - Senior Credit Risk Officer, and Melinda Petrowske - Senior Credit Risk Officer.
