Maria Minter

Maria Minter has over 28 years of experience in public works and recreation management with the City of Farmers Branch. Currently serving as the Managing Superintendent of Public Works, Minter's role encompasses overseeing the recreation, arts, and culture initiatives in Farmers Branch, including the Cultural Arts District and the renovation of the Farmers Branch Community Recreation Center. Previous positions within the city include Recreation Superintendent, Recreation & Culture Manager, Recreation Manager, Athletics Supervisor, Recreation Supervisor, and Recreation Programmer, focusing on programs for youth and families as well as promoting local sports tourism. Minter also contributed as a Marathon Coach for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from 2011 to 2015. Academically, Minter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Woman's University.
