Jim Soppe

Jim Soppe has a diverse work history spanning multiple industries. Jim started their career at AEGON as a Senior Analyst from February 2003 to August 2009. Jim then moved on to Rabobank where they worked as a Relationship Manager from September 2009 to April 2012. Following this, they joined Heritage Oaks Bank as an Agricultural Relationship Manager from May 2012 to December 2013. Jim then transitioned to Farmer Mac, where they served as an Assistant Manager in Loan Underwriting from January 2014 to September 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Ag Credit Analyst/Underwriter at Farmer's Business Network, Inc., which they started in September 2020.

Jim Soppe completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Ag Business at Iowa State University from 1998 to 2002. Jim then pursued further education at Purdue University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Ag Economics from 2015 to 2017. During the same period, they also attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Recently, from 2019 to 2020, they enrolled in Indiana University - Kelley School of Business once again, this time to complete a Master of Science in Finance.
