Doug Cornell

Doug Cornell serves as the Global Head of Sustainability at Farmers Edge, where responsibilities include managing the sustainability vertical and collaborating on external partnerships. Previously, Doug held multiple roles at Farmers Edge, including Product Owner for carbon aggregation and water management, focusing on the development of precision agriculture technologies. With a robust background in business management and consulting through Cornell Consulting, Doug has specialized in agri-business marketing, clean technology, and carbon offsets. Additional experience includes founding Carbonitum Energy Corporation, serving as General Manager for the Alberta Wheat Commission, and holding various marketing and commodity management positions at organizations such as UFA Co-operative Ltd and AgraLink Exchange Ltd. Doug holds a BSc in Agricultural Mechanization & Business from the University of Guelph and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Nova Southeastern University.
