Celine Melikon

Celine Melikon has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, primarily at Farmers Insurance Group. Celine started at Farmers Insurance Group in 2002 as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager, where they managed a $3M GWP Farmers Commercial book and a $1.5M GWP Commercial brokerage book. Celine was responsible for premium growth, retention, and profitability across all lines in the agency, as well as managing staff and training new hires.

In 2010, Celine moved into the role of District Operations Manager, where they continued to focus on premium growth, retention, and profitability across all lines in the district. Celine recruited, trained, and mentored new prospective Agents, and created and implemented a training curriculum for all lines of business.

Celine then became a Commercial Wholesaler in the Los Angeles South Bay Division in 2015. In this role, they ranked #2 nationwide on the Commercial Wholesaler Scorecard and was responsible for premium growth, retention, and profitability across all Commercial products. Celine also provided guidance on sales initiatives, product support, and underwriting/market appetite.

Most recently, Celine held the position of Business Insurance Sales Director for the CA & NV territory at Farmers Insurance Group. In this role, they were responsible for premium growth, retention, and profitability across all Commercial products. Celine developed and executed short and long-term strategies for the territory, leading sales-related activities to achieve revenue goals and market penetration. Celine also served as the main point of contact for the California Territory Office and Home Office Sales team, and led webinars for territory Agents and District force.

Celine Melikon has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Associates Degree in General Studies from Glendale Community College from 2001 to 2004. In 2008, Celine received a certification in Sales/Marketing/Management from the University of Farmers. Celine also acquired a Property & Casualty Insurance License from the California Department of Insurance in 2009. Moreover, Celine obtained certifications in Making Effective Presentations from the University of Farmers in 2017, and in Professional Selling Skills (PSS) from Miller Heiman Group in 2018.
