Raul Vargas

Raul Vargas is an accomplished executive in the insurance industry with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as President of Distribution, Life and Financial Services at Farmers Insurance since May 2022, Raul previously held the position of CEO at Zurich Santander Insurance America from September 2011 to May 2022, overseeing operations for multiple countries and managing a significant customer base. Raul's earlier experience includes key roles at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, where achievements included optimizing the Life Business across Latin America and leading successful expansion projects. Raul holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Buenos Aires, coupled with an actuarial degree from the same institution.
