Nick Westgerdes

Vice President - East Central Area at Farmers National Company

Nick Westgerdes has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Nick started their career as a Lumber Yard Foreman at West Side Lumber - Ace Hardware in 2003 and worked there for six years. In 2009, they joined FamilyFarms Group as a Business Consultant and Inputs Coordinator. After three years, they moved on to Farmers National Company in 2012, where they held several positions, including Accredited Senior Farm Manager and Real Estate Broker. In 2017, they were promoted to Assistant Vice President and eventually became the Vice President for the East Central Area. Nick is known for their team approach to farm management and their ability to provide tailored and professional services to clients.

Nick Westgerdes obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Agriculture, General from Black Hawk College from the years 2000 to 2002. Following this, from 2002 to 2004, Nick attended Western Illinois University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. In terms of additional certifications, Nick acquired an Illinois Managing Broker License from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in December 2019. More recently, in May 2023, they obtained a Wisconsin Brokers License from the Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services.
