Daisy Whittemore has a diverse range of work experience. Daisy currently holds the position of Director of Writing & Content Development at Farmers Restaurant Group since 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Yoga Teacher & Blogger as a self-employed health and wellness consultant since 2012. Daisy also worked as a writer and public health communications consultant since 2006, collaborating with various organizations to improve access to accurate health information.

In the past, Daisy worked as the Director of the Outreach Partnership Program at the National Institute of Mental Health from 2005 to 2007, where they managed partnerships to disseminate mental health information and reduce stigma. Daisy also served as the Chief/Acting Director of the Real Men Real Depression campaign at the Office of Communications, National Institute of Mental Health from 1999 to 2005, overseeing strategic communications planning and campaign materials.

In addition, Daisy worked as a Writer-Editor at the Public Information & Communications Branch, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development from 1997 to 1999. In this role, they played a key role in the national Back to Sleep public health education campaign, focusing on SIDS risk reduction and developing targeted materials for high-risk populations.

Throughout their career, Daisy has shown a dedication to public health, communications, and writing.

Daisy Whittemore pursued their education at the University of Maryland, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Art History from 1985 to 1989. Later, they enrolled at the same university to work towards a Master's degree in English Literature and Women's Studies from 1993 to 1995.
