Aaron Birkby is a seasoned entrepreneur and venture capital leader with extensive experience in supporting technology and agtech sectors. As the CEO and Co-Founder of Tribe Global Ventures since August 2021, Aaron focuses on investing in Australian and New Zealand tech companies and facilitating their growth in international markets. In addition, Aaron serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence for Farmers2Founders and has held various roles in academia, including Sessional Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Griffith University. Additionally, Aaron's contributions include advisory roles for the Queensland Government and multiple universities, where leadership in entrepreneurship programs was established. Previous roles include Co-Founder of Peak Persona and Director of RCL Accelerator Fund One. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics and a Bachelor of Laws in Commercial Law, alongside various certifications in technology.

Farmers2Founders is an Australian agrifood tech company formed in 2018 to accelerate the development, commercialisation and adoption of agritech solutions that deliver real impact. Our purpose is to deliver innovative products and services to support Australian farmers to become more profitable and sustainable. We believe that to reach the ambitious industry target of $100Bn by 2030, the agricultural sector will need to undergo transformative and disruptive change and to tackle the current and emerging challenges we believe farmers must be at the centre of innovation. Farmers2Founders plays its role by supporting and working with farmers, local and global agritech startups and entrepreneurs, corporate businesses, industry, researchers and governments. We do this via our core business pillars of venture creation and growth (TEKLAB); accelerating adoption of agritech solutions on farm (TEKFARM) ; and activating regional innovation ecosystems across Australia.
