Michael Barnes

Michael Barnes has work experience in software development and teaching. Michael currently works as a Software Developer at FarmIQ Systems Ltd since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an API Developer at New Zealand Post from August 2019 to June 2021. Michael also served as a Teacher's Assistant for Software Development at Otago Polytechnic from February 2018 to June 2019. In addition, they completed a software engineering internship with a focus on iOS at BlueJeans by Verizon from November 2018 to February 2019.

Michael Barnes completed a Bachelor of Information Technology in Computer Software Engineering from Otago Polytechnic between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Music in Music from the University of Otago, which they completed from 2010 to 2013.
