Tanya Houghton

Tanya Houghton is the current CEO of Farmlands. Prior to this, they were the Group CEO of MoleMap New Zealand from November 2019 to July 2021. Tanya has also held the position of Director at Animates New Zealand from September 2016 to July 2019, and Chief Operating Officer at Greencross Limited from July 2016 to July 2019.

Throughout their roles within Greencross Limited, Houghton's main focus was on the creation of high performance cultures aligned with the delivery of shareholders objectives. Over a very growth focused 15 years, Greencross saw a continual evolution of its business models to exceed customer expectations. Houghton gained extensive experience in the evolution of customer offers via such initiatives as: execution of profitable growth strategies via NTI sites, acquisition & franchising, Omni; existing brand re-positioning; expansion of professional service offers; development of multiple physical formats to suit identified market opportunities; development, launch & growth of loyalty programs and subscription models; expansion of bricks & mortar networks via creation of enhanced Omni offers.

Tanya Houghton has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Massey University.
