Warren Parker

Warren has a 20-year career as a senior executive, including positions as Chief Executive Officer of Scion (the New Zealand Forest Research Institute), Chief Operating Officer of AgResearch, and Chief Executive Officer of Landcare Research. Warren has a Ph.D. in Animal Science and was previously a Professor of Agribusiness and Resource Management at Massey University, where he spent 18 years in various roles, including supervising the 9,000 stock unit Riverside Farm in the Wairarapa. He joined the Farmlands Board in 2017. Warren is also Chair of Pāmu (Landcorp Farming Ltd.), a Director of Quayside Holdings and Predator Free 2050; and Chairs the Forestry Ministerial Advisory Group and Griffith Enterprise at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. He is a lifestyle block farmer.
