Karam El Assaad

Karam El Assaad has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Karam is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at FarmLend since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at NCR Corporation from 2017 to 2021, holding the positions of Channel Account Manager and Inside Sales Specialist. Karam also co-founded Numu Technologies LLC, a digital marketing agency based in California, where they were responsible for sales, cash flow management, and project assignments. Karam worked at Batisseurs Du Liban Nord in 2016, where they gained experience in sales and customer support. Karam started their career as a trainee at Festo in 2011, specializing in pneumatics and sensory systems. Karam also served as a Student Laboratory Assistant at the University of Balamand, where they conducted experiments and performed data analysis.

Karam El Assaad has a diverse educational background. Karam obtained their Master's Degree in Process Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey in 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Engineering at the University of Balamand, graduating in 2013. Before entering university, Karam attended Lycée Alphonse de Lamartine from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained their High School diploma with a specialization in Sciences, specifically Mathematics.

In addition to their formal education, Karam has also pursued various certifications. Karam completed the "Elements of AI" certification from the University of Helsinki in June 2018. In March 2016, they obtained a certification in "New Energy Technologies" from Grenoble Ecole de Management. Karam also holds a certification in "Basics in Pneumatics" from FESTO, which they obtained in April 2011. Lastly, they acquired the "Inbound Methodology" certification from HubSpot in December 2016.
