John R. Brutty

John R. Brutty has extensive experience in sales and management within the agricultural industry. John R. is currently the Director of Sales at FarmTrace, a position they assumed in March 2022. Prior to joining FarmTrace, Brutty held various roles at Farmers Business Network, including Director of Sales for Grain Marketing Services and Senior Sales Manager for Grain Marketing Services. John R. also served as the General Sales Manager at Burrus Seed, where they worked closely with the sales team and company ownership to develop and implement sales strategies. Before that, Brutty worked at Cargill, where they held the role of Sales Manager for AgHorizons Marketing Services. During their time at Cargill, they achieved notable success in driving sales, managing customer relationships, and launching new products. Additionally, Brutty served as the General Sales Manager at Hoegemeyer Hybrids and as the District Sales Manager at MYCOGEN SEEDS. John R. has demonstrated strong leadership skills, including leading teams of varying sizes and participating in leadership development programs.

John R. Brutty holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agriculture Business from South Dakota State University. In addition, they obtained a certification in Hogan Assessment in June 2015.
