Giorgi Kalandadze

Giorgi Kalandadze is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in robotics, automation, and quality assurance. Currently serving as Subsystem Team Leader at FARO Technologies since September 2021, Kalandadze previously held leadership roles at OPEX Corporation and worked at New Hudson Facades as Senior Robotics and Automation Engineer. Kalandadze's background includes academic roles at Villanova University, where responsibilities encompassed managing residence halls and research involving UEGO sensors. An alumnus of Villanova University, Kalandadze holds both a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Prior military service includes significant achievements as an Artillery Squad Commander in the Israeli Defense Forces, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
