Matt Horwath

Matt Horwath has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in finance, accounting, and operations. Matt recently served as the Vice President of Finance at FARO Technologies starting in July 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Finance & Accounting at FARO Technologies from August 2018 to July 2021. From May 2017 to August 2018, they worked as the Senior Manager of Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting at FARO Technologies.

Before joining FARO Technologies, Matt worked at EY as a Manager from September 2015 to May 2017 and as an Audit Senior from October 2013 to September 2015. Matt also worked as an Accounting Manager for the National Flood Division at Lender Processing Services, Inc. from April 2013 to October 2013, and as an Accounting Manager for Internal Reporting at BI-LO Winn Dixie Stores from December 2012 to April 2013.

Matt started their career at Ernst & Young as part of Assurance Services from September 2011 to December 2012. Prior to that, they held roles at Winn Dixie Stores, where they worked as an Accounting Supervisor from August 2010 to September 2011 and as an Accounting Management Trainee from September 2008 to July 2010.

Lastly, Matt gained operational experience as the Director of Operations-Baseball at the University of Central Florida Athletic Association from August 2007 to June 2008.

Matt Horwath earned a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of North Florida - College of Business Administration from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the UCF College of Business from 2004 to 2007. In 2002 to 2004, Matt attended Louisiana State University without obtaining a degree. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the FL Board of Accountancy, obtained in the year 2011.
