Oswin Horvath

Oswin Horvath is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in firmware and embedded software development. Currently serving as the Director of Systems Engineering at FARO Technologies since June 2012, Oswin has progressed from roles including Senior Manager and Team Leader in Firmware/Embedded Software Engineering, demonstrating leadership and technical expertise over multiple product generations. Oswin's career began at IBM as a working student, contributing to VHDL implementations for advanced processors, followed by a research position at the University of Stuttgart, focusing on communication networks. Oswin holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical and Information Engineering with a specialization in Technical Computer Science from the University of Stuttgart.
