Vasco Oliveira

Vasco Oliveira is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in managing and leading software development teams across various organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of Software Engineering at FARO Technologies since April 2019, Vasco ensures that processes and tools align with product life cycle and customer requirements. Prior roles include Software Development Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at FARO Portugal, where emphasis was placed on code quality and architecture standards. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Microfil and as CEO of HTV Tecnologias de Informação Lda, as well as consultancy work at Indra Sistemas Portugal. Vasco holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer.
