Rasmus Overbeck Christensen

Rasmus Overbeck Christensen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and marketing across various industries. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at FarPay since May 2023, Rasmus oversees innovative digital payment solutions from offices in Tórshavn and Copenhagen. Prior to this, Rasmus held the position of Director of Global Marketing Excellence & Strategic Marketing Programs at Milestone Systems, contributing to the company’s global positioning in video management software. Rasmus has also served on the board of directors for Auktionshuset A/S and held significant marketing roles at NORRIQ and SimCorp A/S, where competencies in corporate marketing, communications, and strategy were honed. Earlier career milestones include strategic roles at TBWA\Worldwide, and contributions as a lecturer at Aalborg University. Rasmus holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from Aalborg University and has a background in marketing and communications within nonprofit organizations such as Amnesty International Denmark.
