Leonard Sciarra has extensive work experience in architecture and sustainable design. Leonard has worked as an Architect / Technical Director / Sustainable Design Leader at Farr Associates Architecture & Urban Design since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Architect-Sustainable Design Leader - Planner at Sciarra Architecture & Planning from 2020 to 2021. Leonard was also an Architect at GENSLER from 2006 to 2020, where they held various roles such as project architect, project manager, sustainable design lead, and technical director. Additionally, Leonard had a role as a Project Architect at Serena Sturm Architects from 1998 to 2007.
Leonard Sciarra attended Harvard University's Graduate School of Design from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree in the field of Architecture. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1988, they attended Colby College. Leonard also holds additional certifications such as LEED AP Building Design + Construction from the U.S. Green Building Council, obtained in 1998, and an Architect certification from the State of Illinois, obtained in 1996.
