David J. Farrell

David began his career at FDC over 30 years ago in the company’s former Winooski plant. David represents the third generation in the family business along with his two sisters and his son who brings a fourth generation to FDC . He follows his grandfather and father serving as president of the company as it enters its 85th year. He began his first summer in the breakage room where damaged goods were cleaned and repackaged. David worked through delivery, merchandising, sales and sales management before moving into marketing for the company in the mid 90’s and becoming its VP of Sales a decade or so later. David serves as a board member for the National Beer Wholesalers Assn. and the Burlington Business Assn. and is the current president of the Vermont Wholesale Beverage Assn. He lives in South Burlington with his wife Nancy and their two children DJ and Taylor.
