Raul Mercado

Raul Mercado has extensive experience in the field of information technology. Raul has worked as the Director of Information Technology at Farwest Corrosion Control Company since 2015, where they oversee the IT team and infrastructure for the company's nationwide operations. In this role, they have established cyber security policies and implemented strategies to ensure risk management, information privacy, data redundancy, and infrastructure hardening.

Prior to their current position, Raul worked as a System Network Administrator at Farwest Corrosion Control Company, managing various operating systems, networking services, and business-critical applications. Raul also provided help desk support and installed hardware devices.

Before joining Farwest Corrosion Control Company, Raul worked at YMCA of Greater Long Beach as a Digital Media Coordinator. In this role, they developed a journalism program, designed and managed websites, and served as the lead designer and editor for a centerfold in the Gazette Newspapers.
