Dr. Brooke Carlson

Dr. Brooke Carlson is an accomplished academic and industry leader in marketing, finance, and leadership, currently serving as the Interim Dean of the School of Graduate Studies and a Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology since 2010. In addition, Dr. Carlson is the President and Owner of Beauty Strategies, LLC, providing expert services in strategy and business development for the global beauty industry. Previous roles include Vice President at Conair Corporation overseeing marketing strategy and business development, as well as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Matrix, and Vice President and General Manager at L'Oreal Technique, where Dr. Carlson was instrumental in leading P&L and marketing strategies for significant businesses. Dr. Carlson's education includes a Doctor of Science in Management Systems from the University of New Haven and various leadership certificates from CEDEP and NYU Stern School of Business.
