CDMO, Chief Digital & Marketing Officer at FASHIONPHILE

Sophia T. began their work experience as a Business Journalist for United Daily News from August 1994 to August 1997. Sophia then became the Vice President of Business Development for Asia International Media Production Co. from January 1999 to March 2000. Following that, they joined Esprit as a Brand Marketing Manager and was later promoted to Brand Marketing Director for Asia Regions, where they managed brand marketing for 11 Asian countries, built up the eCommerce and membership program, and handled PR and brand marketing strategy from February 2000 to February 2003.

From March 2003 to June 2006, Sophia worked as a Senior Director of Marketing and Merchandising for Eastern Broadcasting Co., Ltd. Sophia played a key role in launching the ETTV America branch in Los Angeles, managing satellite TV business development and operations, as well as working with Direct TV and Dish Network for business partnership management and brand marketing.

In August 2007, Sophia joined Newegg as the Head of Marketplace, where they expanded the marketplace to B2B and Canada, created innovative B2B online commerce, and brought significant growth to the company. Sophia continued to progress within the company, eventually serving as the SVP of Global Marketplace from April 2016 to March 2018, and finally as the Chief Marketplace Officer from March 2018 to August 2019. Sophia and their team successfully built and expanded the Newegg Marketplace internationally to 80 countries and achieved annual sales in the billions.

Currently, Sophia works at FASHIONPHILE, starting in October 2019. Sophia initially held the position of Chief Digital Officer, where they led the digital transformation and eCommerce growth of the company. Sophia built up the Digital Department from the ground up and managed various divisions including Digital CX, Product, Digital Marketing, Brand Communications, Data Science & Analytics, Sales & Merchandising. Sophia now holds the role of CDMO, Chief Digital and Marketing Officer, where they continue to lead digital transformation and eCommerce growth for the company, strategizing and overseeing all aspects of digital and marketing operations. FASHIONPHILE is an ultra-luxury fashion ReCommerce company with showrooms in Carlsbad and NYC, as well as studios set in Neiman Marcus department stores.

Sophia T. has a diverse education history. In 1997, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Marketing Communication & Advertising at National Chengchi University, which they completed in 1999. In 2003, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Chapman University.

In 2021, Sophia T. began their studies at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Sophia is expected to complete their degree, known as LEAD, in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Sophia T. obtained a certification in "Presentation for Pitching to Investors" from LinkedIn Certification in February 2020.
