Guillaume Synnott

Guillaume Synnott is a partner at Fasken, specializing in tech, venture capital/private equity, and mergers and acquisitions since September 2019. With a strong foundation in corporate and commercial law, Synnott focuses on high-growth technology companies. Prior experience includes serving as a lawyer at Lavery Lawyers from April 2014 to August 2019 and at Miller Thomson LLP from January 2013 to April 2014, where work encompassed business law and bankruptcy matters. Additionally, Synnott made history as the first member of the Quebec Bar to complete a portion of an articling period at Yingke Law Firm in Shanghai in 2012. Synnott holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Université de Montréal and a Certificate in Chinese Law from China University of Political Science and Law.
