Rhowan Sivel

Rhowan Sivel is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in the legal and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Business Development for Ontario at Fasken since July 2022, Rhowan previously held the role of Head of Business Development at Gowling WLG for 14 years, where responsibilities included overseeing strategic planning and mentoring the business development team. Prior to this, Rhowan served as Business Development and Marketing Manager, managing key practice groups and leading various initiatives. Rhowan’s career began as Senior Manager of Communications & Marketing at BIOTECanada, focusing on marketing initiatives and member programs. Rhowan holds a Bachelor of Journalism with honors from Carleton University, completed in 2002.
