Mohammad Raafi Hossain is the Co-Founder and CEO of Fasset. Mohammad was previously an advisor for the Prime Minister's Office in the United Arab Emirates from June 2017 to June 2019. In this role, they advised the Prime Minister's Office of the United Arab Emirates to accomplish its policy, strategy and innovation mandates. This included advising the World Government Summit and Ministry of Artificial Intelligence through conceptualizing of innovative strategies, execution of major initiatives with government and other stakeholders, and building partnerships with other governments, multilaterals and corporates.

Some key initiatives that they have contributed to include the GovHack Series - Connecting the public and private sectors across the world to support governments in upgrading governmental services through emerging technologies, AI4TB - Facilitating research and development of artificial intelligence through neural nets that are able to diagnose tuberculosis from x-ray images, Bi-lateral AI Bridge - Facilitating bi-lateral relationships such as the India-UAE AI bridge, the first AI Bridge between two nations to foster better data, ethics and innovation sharing across borders, and Government in 2071 - Envisioning governments and their services over the next 50 years.

Mohammad Raafi Hossain has a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Economics and Policy from University of California, Berkeley. Mohammad is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Sustainable Development from Harvard University. Mohammad is also certified in Arabic Language from Qasid Arabic Institute and Certified Islamic Finance Executive (CIFE) from Ethica Institute of Islamic Finance.
