Operations Manager/Business Development Operations Manager at Fast Fill Systems

David Poppleton has worked in various roles for four different companies. David began their career in 1999 as an Assistant Manager for Wichita Baseball, Inc., an AA Affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. In 2006, they moved to The Ranches Golf Club, where they held the position of Assistant Manager. In this role, they supervised and trained 10-15 employees on a yearly basis, managed and performed monthly inventory of the store’s merchandise, and assisted in the creation and supervision of three golf tournaments each year. In 2011, they joined Alpine Innovations as a Business Development/Government Sales Consultant. In this role, they acquired new sales and developed new accounts through prospecting, cold calling, warm leads through trade shows and referrals. David also maintained current accounts by following up to check on inventory levels, send out reminders for repeat sales and perform customer service. Finally, in 2014, they joined Fast Fill Systems as an Operations Manager/Business Development Operations Manager and Business Development Manager. In this role, they identified business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in mining, heavy construction and other related industries by researching and analyzing sales options. David also sold products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions. David maintained relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; and recommending profit and service improvements.

David Poppleton received their Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS from Brigham Young University - Idaho in 1991-1993. David then attended Idaho State University from 1993-1996, where they received their B.S. in Physical Education. Finally, they attended the University of Northern Colorado from 1997-1998, where they earned their M.A. in Sports Management.
