Lily Gu

Lily Gu has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Most recently, they worked as a Finance and Operations Manager at Fast Forward starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they were an Operational Accounting Analyst at Cisco Meraki from September 2020 to February 2022, where they handled various tasks such as onboarding vendors, managing accounts payable, and tracking unpaid invoices.

Before joining Cisco Meraki, Lily worked as a Staff Accountant at Epicurean Group from September 2018 to April 2020. In this role, they prepared financial reports, trained new staff accountants, and maintained relationships with field managers.

Lily also gained experience in client account management at Home Care Assistance, where they worked as a Client Account Specialist from October 2017 to September 2018. Their responsibilities included monitoring billing information, collecting past due invoices, and conducting Accounts Receivable aging meetings.

In addition to their professional experiences, Lily has volunteered and held positions in various organizations. Lily was a Public Relations Division Staff Member at the Chinese Student Association of the University of California, Santa Barbara from September 2015 to June 2016. Lily also worked as a Sales Associate at the Salvatore Ferragamo Boutique Store and as a Supervisor at Tea Era Tea Shop.

Furthermore, Lily served as the Secretary of the De Anza College Honors Club from March 2012 to December 2013, where they regulated the club's budget and maintained communication with members and officers.

Lily Gu began their education in 2012 at De Anza College, where they pursued their Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Accounting. Lily successfully completed this program in 2015. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2017, Lily attended UC Santa Barbara and earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Accounting. In 2017, they joined the Professional Preparation Program for Accounting at UC Santa Barbara Extension, focusing on Enhanced Accounting Study. The end year for this program is not specified.
