Shannon Farley has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on using technology to accelerate social impact. In 2001, they worked as a Program Manager at the W. Haywood Burns Institute, where they focused on eliminating racial and ethnic disparity in youth behavior programs. From 2007 to 2014, Shannon served as the Founding Executive Director of SparkSF, an organization dedicated to advancing gender equality through participatory grantmaking. In 2014, Shannon co-founded Fast Forward, an organization that invests in tech nonprofits and builds capacity for the nonprofit sector. Additionally, Shannon has been a Board Member at The Whitman Institute since 2014, where they promote trust-based approaches to philanthropy.
