Ali Afzal Malik

Ali Afzal Malik has a diverse work experience in the field of academia and software engineering. Ali Afzal started their teaching career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California from 2007 to 2009. Ali Afzal then worked as an Adjunct Faculty at the Lahore University of Management Sciences in 2008. During their time at LUMS, they taught the course CS 566 - Software Management and Economics.

In 2010, Ali joined the University of Central Punjab as an Associate Professor, where they worked until 2013. Ali Afzal then moved on to join FAST-NUCES as an Assistant Professor, a role they currently hold.

Prior to their teaching career, Ali worked as a Software Engineer at Techlogix from 2003 to 2005.

Ali Afzal Malik completed their education in a chronological order. Ali Afzal attended Lahore University of Management Sciences from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. Ali Afzal then pursued further studies at the University of Southern California, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from 2005 to 2007. Following this, they continued their education at the same institution and obtained a PhD in Software Engineering from 2007 to 2010.
