Yoshihiro Kunii

Yoshihiro Kunii is a Group Senior Executive Officer at Fast Retailing. Yoshihiro was previously a Partnerships Intern at MassChallenge from August 2020 to August 2020, where they conducted business development for utilities and coal suppliers by coordinating just in time delivery system, derivative solutions, credit & dept finance in mineral resources trading division. Yoshihiro also sought potential investment opportunities by analyzing the companies.

From May 2020 to May 2021, Kunii was the Head of Asia operations at ThroughPut Inc., where they were responsible for sales and marketing of AI software for manufacturers as well as logistics. Yoshihiro also built a strategic alliance with a Japanese software company to enter new market and create potential pipelines.

From January 2017 to April 2017, Kunii was a Trainee at Triland Metals Limited, where they were the sole trainee to implement derivative products in thermal coal market.

Kunii has also served as an Assistant Manager at Mitsubishi Corporation from June 2021 to October 2021, and as a Commodity trader and Business Development Manager at Mitsubishi Corporation from April 2017 to July 2019.

Yoshihiro Kunii has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a degree in Chinese from East China Normal University, and a Bachelor of Laws in Economic law from Keio University. Yoshihiro also participated in exchange programs at The University of Hong Kong and Yonsei University. In addition, they have a certification in Business Administration and Management from Harvard Business School. Yoshihiro also has certifications from edX in Using Python for Research and from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) in Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment Level 3 Capital Markets Program. Finally, they have a certification from Confucius Institute Headquarters in New HSK level 6 (Chinese highest level).
