Alexandra Faynburd

Alexandra Faynburd has a strong background in software engineering and technology development. Alexandra started their career at Microsoft in 1998 as a software engineer, where they worked for almost a decade. Following their tenure at Microsoft, Alexandra pursued their education and joined Technion as a graduate student from 2007 to 2011. Alexandra then transitioned to Fast Simon Inc., where they currently hold the position of Chief Technology Officer. At Fast Simon Inc., Alexandra focuses on inventing, prototyping, and implementing algorithms for cloud-based e-commerce search, with a particular interest in machine learning, deep learning, cloud computing, and big data. Alexandra also has experience in full-stack development using Google Cloud platforms.

Alexandra Faynburd attended the Odessa I.I.Mechnikov National University from 1992 to 1995, where they studied Mathematics (NPO). Alexandra then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1999. Alexandra further expanded their knowledge by pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, which they successfully completed from 2007 to 2011.
