Zohar Gilad has an extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Zohar co-founded Fast Simon Inc. (InstantSearch+) in 2013 and served as the CEO. Fast Simon is a leading provider of Shopping Optimization solutions for merchants. Zohar played a crucial role in developing eCommerce Search, Merchandising, Personalization, and other features aimed at increasing conversion and enhancing the shopping experience.
In 2020, Zohar became an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council. Prior to Fast Simon, they co-founded Cloud Power LLC in 2011, where they also served as the CEO. Cloud Power LLC focused on developing products that improved search functionality with lightning-fast and relevant suggestions.
Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Zohar held various executive positions in technology companies. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as the Executive Vice President at Precise. During their tenure at Mercury Interactive, Zohar held multiple roles, including SVP of Strategy (2004-2007), VP of Products (2002-2004), GM & VP of the Application Performance Management Business (1999-2002), and Vice President of Product Marketing (1997-2000).
Zohar's career began with a role in Product Marketing at Mercury Interactive in 1992. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Daisy Systems from 1989 to 1991. Zohar's early professional experiences include working as a Research Assistant at IBM in 1988.
Zohar Gilad pursued their education from 1986 to 1989 at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Subsequently, in 1991 to 1992, they attended INSEAD and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
