Bob then joined EMC in 2000, where they held various roles such as Project Manager, Backup/Recovery Solutions Architect, Escalation Manager, BURA Delivery Practice Manager, and Advisory Solutions Architect. In these roles, they demonstrated expertise in EMC's data protection solutions and successfully managed customer engagements, team coordination, and problem resolution. Bob Rankin worked as a Principal Customer Experience Manager for CA Technologies from 2017 to 2019, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction. Currently, they are serving as a Program Manager at Fast Switch, Ltd., contributing to the company's commitment to deliver the right talent at the right time.

Bob Rankin attended Edsel Ford High School from 1984 to 1988. After graduating high school, they enrolled in Alma College from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. During their time at Alma College, Bob specialized in English, History, and minored in French. Subsequently, they transferred to Eastern Michigan University from 1992 to 1993, where they pursued a second BA, this time in English Language & Literature and Social Sciences.
