Eric Holt

Eric Holt has a diverse work experience spanning over more than two decades. Eric is currently working at vLex as a Product Manager/Digest Lead since January 2019. Prior to joining vLex, they worked at Fastcase as a Project Editor from October 2017 to December 2018. Eric also gained experience at N2 Publishing, where they served as an Area Director from September 2013 to March 2018.

Before their time at N2 Publishing, Eric worked at Wolters Kluwer Law and Business, where they held various roles. Eric started as a Developmental Editor in March 2002 and was promoted to Senior Developmental Editor in March 2005. In March 2007, they became a Managing Editor, overseeing a team of in-house and freelance editors. Later, in March 2010, they were promoted to Senior Managing Editor, assisting the Editorial Director with strategic planning and financial reporting. From December 2010 to September 2013, Eric served as the Editorial Director, managing a team of employees and freelancers and ensuring the timely development and production of legal education titles.

Before entering the legal education industry, Eric worked as a Reporter at The York Weekly from May 1996 to August 1998. Eric also gained experience as an Associate Editor at New England Construction News from August 1995 to September 1996 and at Griffin Publishing Co. Inc. from August 1993 to April 1995.

Eric Holt attended Stonehill College from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature. Eric then went on to pursue a Juris Doctor degree in Law at Suffolk University Law School from 1999 to 2001.
