Mike Schnaidt

Creative Director, Art at Fast Company

Mike Schnaidt is the current Creative Director, Art at Fast Company. Mike has previous experience as Associate Art Director at Entertainment Weekly from April 2007 to February 2011, where they designed the first prototype for the tablet edition and developed a workflow for efficient production. Mike also art directed and designed the weekly edition. In February 2017, they became Creative Director at Men's Health, where they elevated the visual language across all expressions of the brand, oversaw designs, interactions, and animations for responsive microsites and longform stories, and developed a visual strategy for social media. Mike was also responsible for building, leading, and mentoring a team of 11 cross-platform art directors, designers, photo editors and in-house photographers. In May 2016, they became Deputy Design Director at Popular Science.

Mike Schnaidt has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Communication Design from Pratt Institute, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Digital Arts and Design from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Graphic Design from Nassau Community College.
