Daniel Savo

Daniel Savo has a range of work experience in the software engineering field.

Daniel is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Fastly, starting in January 2023.

Prior to this, they held a position as a Senior Software Engineer at WP Engine, starting in October 2019 and continuing until their move to Fastly.

Daniel also worked as a Software Engineer at WP Engine from June 2018 to August 2019.

Before joining WP Engine, they were employed at Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Software Engineer, starting in January 2014 and still at their role at the U.S. Department of the Treasury - Direct Express Program.

During their time at Cognizant, they were involved in various projects like redesigning customer phone notification systems, implementing fraud-mitigation upgrades, and developing web services for data exchange.

Additionally, Daniel worked as an Undergraduate Student Worker at the Dean's Office of the College of Engineering - Virginia Tech from June 2009 to May 2013.

Daniel also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from August 2012 to December 2012.

Daniel Savo attended Virginia Tech from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering. In December 2014, they also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
