Elize Selvarajah

Elize Selvarajah has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. They began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at newScale in 2001 and then moved on to roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Principal Engineer at Macromedia from 2003 to 2006.

In 2008, Elize joined DigitalGlobe as a Senior Software Engineer and later transitioned to become a Staff Software Engineer/ScrumMaster in 2012. They also worked as an Independent Contractor at GeccoSoft Inc. and Tweakable during this time.

From 2014 to 2017, Elize worked at HERE Technologies in various roles, including Principal Engineer/Server Team Lead, Lead Architect, and Engineering Manager. In these roles, they led the server team, served as a technical lead and scrum master, and managed the development and support of the RealityLens product.

In 2018, Elize joined Goodreads.com as a Software Development Manager, where they oversaw the development process. Later that year, they transitioned to InVision as an Engineering Manager and held this role until 2020.

Currently, Elize is working at Fastly as a Senior Engineering Manager and recently transitioned to the role of Director of Engineering in September 2021. In these roles, they are responsible for managing engineering teams and contributing to the company's technological advancements.

Elize Selvarajah obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida. Elize attended the university from 1991 to 1996. Their field of study was Engineering.
