Negar Aref

Negar Aref has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Negar is currently working at Fastly as a Senior Software Engineer since April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Fastly from November 2020 to April 2022. Negar also worked at Arcules as a Software Engineer from May 2020 to November 2020.

Before joining Fastly and Arcules, Negar worked at Glidewell Dental. Negar held the positions of Software Engineer II from March 2018 to May 2020 and Software Engineer II - Technical Lead from March 2018 to October 2019. Negar started their career at Glidewell Dental as a Software Engineer I from March 2016 to March 2018.

Prior to Glidewell Dental, Negar gained experience as a Software Development Test Engineer at Extron Electronics from December 2014 to February 2016. Negar was responsible for creating automated testing for various applications and devices.

Negar then pursued further education and completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science at UC Irvine from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Negar Aref obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in September 2017.
