Patrick Hamann has a strong work history in software engineering and development roles. Patrick is currently employed at Fastly as a Senior Principal Software Engineer since February 2022. Additionally, they co-organized the London Sencha Touch user group from November 2011 to September 2013 and worked as a Lead front-end developer at Ultraviolet Design Limited from July 2009 to September 2012, overseeing all client-side design and development. Throughout their career, Patrick has focused on advocating web standards, performance initiatives, and pushing for a faster web.

Patrick Hamann attended Bournemouth University from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Interactive Media Production.
