Lindsay Southgate

Lindsay Southgate has a solid work experience spanning several companies and roles. Their most recent position is as the Head of Risk and Compliance at Fastmarkets since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at S&P Global Platts for seven years as a Risk and Control Associate Director, where they focused on business controls and operational risk within the pricing process. Lindsay then joined Jefferies, where they served as an International Project Manager and later as an Operations Control Change Manager. Lindsay started their career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Global Commodities Change Project Manager AVP, followed by a role as a Commodities Operations Trade Support Manager. Before that, they had positions at Morgan Stanley as a Commodities Operations Associate and as an intern in the Commodities Operations team.

Lindsay Southgate pursued their education from 2000 to 2004 at the University of Portsmouth, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Business Studies with a focus on Business Management. In addition to their formal education, Lindsay also obtained additional certifications such as "Optimising Risk workshops" from the Institute of Risk Management in January 2018, and "Operational Risk Management" from the PRMIA - Professional Risk Managers' International Association in December 2016.
