Kenny Ling

Kenny Ling has a diverse work experience in the field of geospatial analytics and cartography. Kenny is currently working at Fastned as the Head of Location Intelligence since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Unacast from 2020 to 2022, starting as a Senior Product Manager and later taking on the role of Lead Product Manager. Before that, Kenny worked at Electrify America from 2017 to 2020 as a Location Strategy Lead and GIS Site Planning & Research Specialist. Kenny also has experience working at Deloitte as a Geospatial Analytics Consultant from 2014 to 2017, where they provided clients with solutions in geospatial analytics and advisory services for major US cities and Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, they worked at Esri as a Cartographic Product Engineer from 2009 to 2014, where they led the development of GIS/cartographic technology and collaborated with the user community. Kenny started their career at Ohio University as a Teaching Assistant from 2007 to 2008, providing instruction and support for GIS and Cartography courses. Kenny also worked at the National Geographic Society as an Editorial Assistant in 2006, managing editorial tasks and providing support for international field teams.

Kenny Ling has a diverse educational background in the field of Geography. In 2003, they attended Richmond, The American International University in London, where they pursued unspecified coursework. The following year, in 2004, Kenny enrolled at the University of Minnesota and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography. In the same year, they also studied at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), earning a certificate without specifying the field of study.
