David Andrada is currently the Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Aura Fat Projects Acquisition Corp. David is also the Co-Founder and Financial Sponsor of the company, which is a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) focused on Web 3.0 technologies and emerging technology companies. Prior to this, David was the Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Fat Projects Acquisition Corp, another Special Purpose Acquisition Company on NASDAQ. David has also worked as a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Fat Projects, an Investment and Venture Studio. Before their roles in SPACs and venture capital, David had a long career in banking, holding various leadership positions at HSBC and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. David has extensive experience in Global Liquidity and Cash Management, as well as deal origination and strategy formulation in the Asia Pacific region. David also has previous experience in retail banking and treasury analysis at International Exchange Bank and Petron Corporation, respectively.
David Andrada attended The University of Sydney Business School from 2010 to 2012. During this time, they pursued a Masters Program and completed a Graduate Diploma in Commerce with a focus on International Business.

FAT Projects is a boutique investment company and venture studio with circa $30M in capital deployed/co-raised to date across a portfolio of assets in Technology, Education, Hospitality, E-commerce, Fintech. Secondly, we love accelerating emerging growth companies who are looking to scale and solve big problems through a tech-enabled and entrepreneurial approach The company was co-founded by two partners who bring a nexus between 20 years of high end global banking and a 20 year career built on entrepreneurialism. These polarising skill sets come together to provide a very unique approach to both building business and advising our clients. FAT understands deeply how big companies work, yet we also understand the importance of agile and lean thinking to move, solve problems and scale fast. The partners focus and network depth lies mostly in Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States.
